The classic tale of Simpleton, who finds the Golden Goose, makes the Princess laugh, and finally wins her hand in marriage.
Excellent double-spread colour illustrations throughout. Illustrated endpapers and pastedowns.

Glazed pictorial boards. Spine and corners bumped. Two corners are lightly chipped. One or two pages are creased from handling, another has a negligible closed tear at the foot. Otherwise all pages are in excellent condition: crisp, bright, and unmarked.

A very rare book.
