The Phonics Teacher's Book is designed for use with Phonics Pupil Books 1, 2, and 3. Together these books provide a thorough programme for the first year of teaching reading and writing.

The Phonics Teacher's Book provides a detailed introduction to the Jolly Phonics teaching method and offers a set of structured daily lesson plans, which correspond to the daily activities in the Phonics Pupil Books. The Phonics Pupil and Teacher's Books work well when used on their own, but are also designed so that they can be used in conjunction with the other Jolly Phonics products listed below. In particular, the Phonics Pupil and Teacher's Books closely follow the teaching in the Phonics for the Whiteboard software and can be used alongside it in the classroom.

This material is recommended by Cambridge International Examinations to support the Cambridge Primary English curriculum framework.
